Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'

Not again! Cole rolled over today from his tummy to his back. Since he sleeps on his stomach, due to acid reflux, he is one strong boy. He can sit up with his head and neck straight for the longest time and is constantly showing us his muscles or kicking his sister (and believe me, having had to deal with "Ricco" for nine months I know the punch behind those kicks).

I'll be honest, I don't do much tummy time with him because I figure he gets a good nine hours of it at night but wow, was I impressed by him today. That kid held his neck up further than I think I could for a good 20 minutes, happy as can be, even though he refused to finish his nap hence the reason he was up and rollin' around. Then he decided to flip right over! He's only three months old! Ahhhh!!!! I am so, so, so grateful I was home today to catch it on video. That's the reason I want to stay home all the time (I know, crazy that wiping butts all day sounds joyous but it does)... to capture these precious and fleeting moments with my babies.

Two trips to Cherry Hills Waterpark in one week equals the following:

1. Parents getting smart the second time around and bringing Pearl's own floatie toy. Much better than trying to hold her on the tubes and having your arms go numb from her squirming.2. A very, very cute surfer dude (thanks Maren for the shirt)! 3. Lots and lots of naps by the very, very cute surfer dude. Which made us all very happy since we could take turns playing with Pearl and keep Cole out of the sun. Plus grandma and grandpa didn't complain about holding a baby all day.
4. A poor lifeguard who had no choice but to suffer through Jeff and his brother's taunting. Let's just say she got revenge by dumping her cold water bottle all over Jeff. Unfortunately for her, Jeff and Roy also got revenge. I'm surprised we didn't get kicked out.

5. Lots of stares, pointing, and comments like the following, "Look at that baby's hair!" or "That's a lot of hair!" or "That's the cutest baby I've ever seen!" Even from people floating the lazy river who just happened to look up at us. Seriously, I feel like a freak show with Cole sometimes.
6. Unfortunately one crisp, sunburned Jeff who decided to risk not reapplying sunscreen on his back (the second trip). We almost made it the the whole summer without having to break out the aloe vera. As torn as I am to say this, I'm glad it wasn't me and I'm still pasty white because it looked like it hurt!

7. Completely and utterly exhausted little girl, stuffed full of Cheetos, a little sunburned, and tired enough to fall asleep at 5:30 pm and sleep until 8:30 am the next morning!

Need your help!

I found a baby contest that I want to enter a picture of Cole in. My problem is I can't decide which of the gazillion pictures to submit! I think they're all cute, obviously, but want something that shows off his awesome hair and gorgeous blue eyes but looks recent and not dorky. No nasal shots as Jeff would say. I want something that in a millisecond you'd stop and stare, thinking that was the cutest baby you've ever seen. Ok, so really I just want to grab you with all that blond hair seeing as how that's all the comments we get anyway. I feel like we're a freak show sometimes with all the stares, pointing, and whispering we get about "look at that baby's hair!" But that's exactly the reaction I'm going for! So I've narrowed it down to a generous few and want to know your favorite.
